Children and forms

Yippee!!! Yippee!! It is still sinking into my mind that I got the job, I received an email on Tuesday that I have to organise a schedule to observe children for 2.5 hours in 5 different schools. I was on the phone for a few hours getting the times and dates arranged so that I could see how a day worked in the life of the childcare settings.

It was interesting, seeing how each teacher had a huge variety of activities for the children, watching the children from 2 years upward doing the few chores around the classroom, taking care of their lunch items, putting toys away, washing their hands and throwing the rubbish into the trash (bin). I enjoyed the observations best when I got to participate with the children or help the teacher with preparing for activities. It was a lot of fun and the children were so lovable, mischievous and smart.

As I didn’t know where the places where in relation to where I lived, I picked childcare places that were some distance apart so if nothing else I have got used to driving Jo large vehicle, (which I am very thankful for) and getting to know places around Kansas. I prayed every time I got into the car that God would direct me, help me to drive on the right side and be able to hear and understand the sat nav instructions. God answered prayer every time.

This week was another huge learning curve, I received so many forms from the 1st part of the orientation, so I have had to learn about withholding allowance to do with tax, it was like someone was speaking in a foreign language as it took a while for me to even understand what it meant but it finally sunk into my brain but still not 100% about how I do it. (So if any of you reading this can help me, it would be very gratefully received) I did research on health insurance, this was also where I learnt what deductibles and coinsurance meant, I eventually understood everything with help from Rachel, Jo and Alex, I had to get this done as I have to get a health assessment done for work, I had rang a clinic and arranged an appointment for Monday.

In the midst of everything, I am very thankful firstly, to God who has instructed and taught me the way I should go, who has given me wisdom and discernment when I have needed it, secondly to Jo and Alex for their constant help, encouragement and support and thirdly to all those who pray for me, send me encouraging messages and ring me. I especially want to thank my sister Esther who texts and rings me, who has been my constant encourager, supporter, who makes me laugh and teaches me not to be so serious. Fourly, my friend Rod, who sends me emails and texts about God’s love, music and encourages me to spend time in my Bible, to continue to mediate, worship and learn from my Heavenly Father

It has been great to receive some emails and messages from you that are reading my blog, I hope it is an encouragement to you to keep holding on to the Lord, He is with you in the midst of the circumstances you are in even though you may not feel His presence. He has promised I will never leave you.

I will leave you with a verse we were studying in church this morning, it is also the verse that Charles and I leaned on throughout our marriage.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and he shall direct your path.

I have moved to the USA and I am writing about the things I am doing and hopefully what I am learning during this process. How God is directing me through each adventure that I go through

  1. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness and all these things shall be added onto you!
As far as I can see you’re doing things in the right order !πŸ‘πŸ˜€πŸ˜˜
